School-Based Family Support Centers

Our mission in the Family Support Centers is to partner with schools and families to provide therapeutic intervention and support services in the school to families who might not otherwise be able to access services. We can act as a bridge between families and schools.
Students and their families can be referred by the school or be self-referred.

We help students with:

  • Problems that block social, emotional, or academic success
  • Depression
  • Bullying
  • Trauma (a history of physical, sexual or emotional abuse)
  • Loss/bereavement
  • Separation/divorce issues

We help parents with:

  • Children’s needs
  • Family problems
  • Discipline issues
  • Homework routines
  • Adolescent concerns
