Family & Children’s Counseling Services is a private, non-profit organization offering professional counseling and prevention services. Integrated outpatient behavioral health services are available for youth, adults and families who are experiencing emotional, personal, and alcohol or drug-related problems. Services are available at multiple locations in Broome, Cortland, Madison and Tioga counties and through our school-based counseling programs.

Strategic Alliance for the Future
Family & Children’s Counseling Services is both a new agency and one with a rich history. The organization was established in 2020 through the merger of Family Counseling Services of Cortland County and The Family & Children’s Society based in Broome County. Together, the two legacy organizations have over 125 years of experience serving people in Central New York and the Southern Tier. The strategic alliance of the two agencies has allowed for the expansion of services and assures ongoing availability of essential behavioral health services for members of our community.
