Psychiatric Rehab Services
Psych Rehab Services (PRS) are mental health skill-building classes offered by FCCS and include services and recovery support that help individuals develop skills and functioning to facilitate community living; support positive social, emotional, and educational development; facilitate inclusion and integration; and support pursuit of their goals in the community.
Skills Development: Addressing deficits in areas such as communication, socialization, daily living, and job skills.
- Community Integration: Helping individuals reconnect to their community through activities such as volunteering, attending social groups, and participating in cultural activities.
- Vocational Rehabilitation: Supporting individuals in securing and maintaining competitive employment, including job readiness training, resume building, and job coaching.
- Family Education and Support: Providing education to families about mental illness and supporting them in helping their loved one achieve recovery goals.
- Crisis Prevention and Management: Developing crisis plans to avoid psychiatric hospitalizations.
PRS Classes help individuals address barriers to success.
Each class is uniquely tailored to each person’s needs, and the 12-week semester includes classes that address barriers in each of the PRS domains.
Our clients say:
“The groups allow us to connect with other members, and the shared experiences are helpful.”
“Do not change anything! PRS is really Great!”
