Too Good for Drugs & Violence is an evidence-based program for elementary school children that is offered through partner school districts in Cortland County.

Prevention staff work collaboratively with school administrators and classroom teachers to offer the curriculum to elementary children in their district. Prevention staff “push in” to individual classrooms and work directly with the children through a variety of fun, engaging activities.

This program includes activities for:

  • Decision Making
  • Goal Setting
  • Managing Emotions
  • Bonding and Relationships
  • Communication
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Drug Awareness
  • Community Involvement

All activities are evidence-based and appropriate for ages 5 through 13.
