Family & Children’s Society
Annual Meeting and Board of Directors

(Binghamton, NY) The Family & Children’s Society held its annual meeting on Thursday, May 14 at 8 a.m. at The Binghamton Club. The Esther W. Couper Award was presented to Roz Antoun, director of Jewish Family Service, through the Greater Binghamton Jewish Federation. The Staff Leadership Award was presented to Jenny Almanzar, supervisor of the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program. Guest speaker was Alan Hertel, director of United Way of Broome County and the title of his speech was, “Challenges and Opportunities”.

The following people were elected to the board of directors for a three-year term: Thomas G. Bosman, vice president, Payco, Inc.; Jeffrey M. Jacobs, Esq. Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP; and Jason M. Monahan, director of clinical operations, Lourdes Hospital.

The elected officers are David K. Tanenhaus, president, John G. Spencer, vice president, Linda A. Persons, treasurer and Richard G. DoBell, secretary.
