BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COUNSELOR

Growing non-profit Behavioral Health Provider is looking for experienced therapists for full-time, 12 month positions. Our agency is dually licensed by OASAS and OMH.  Positions may include some remote telehealth work if desired. Supervision and additional training provided. PEER SPECIALIST

Seeking skilled Peer Specialists to support individuals enrolled in substance use services. Candidates for this position will serve as role models, exhibit competency in understanding personal recovery and the use of relapse prevention and coping skills. Primarily offsite community-based work through mobile outreach services.

Qualifications: Preference is given to those who are a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) as certification is required within six months of hire. High school graduate/GED. An individual does not need to be in recovery, but must be able to confer empathy through lived experiences. One year of Health or Human Service experience preferred. Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License and pass background clearance for use of agency vehicles. Supervision and training provided.

SCHOOL-BASED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COUNSELOR

We are seeking School-based Behavioral Health Counselors for our licensed mental health satellite clinics in Cortland and Broome counties. Opportunities available for 10, 11, or 12-month positions to provide counseling, assessments and case planning for children and their family members. Preference to candidates who are comfortable providing telehealth services. Supervision and additional training provided.

TELEHEALTH COUNSELOR

We are seeking experienced therapists for full-time, 12-month positions working from a remote location providing telehealth services. Duties include individual and group-based clinical work with individuals and families. One to two evenings per week; flexible scheduling during business hours. Supervision and additional training provided. Professional work environment.

Qualifications: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT; must be licensed (or permit eligible) in NYS. Preference for those who provide dual diagnosis (MH/SUD) services. Experienced candidates preferred.

INTAKE SPECIALIST

The CCBHC intake staff member acts as the first point of contact for potential clients, conducting initial assessments to gather necessary information, determining eligibility for services, and facilitating the admission process by assigning clients to appropriate clinicians within the clinic, all while adhering to CCBHC guidelines and ensuring timely access to care.  The primary responsibility is to efficiently screen and triage new clients, ensuring timely and efficient access based on initial presentation and stated need.  Responsibilities will include brief assessment and therapeutic interventions to determine the level and type of services needed across the CCBHC’s core services. Intake Staff will provide clinical evidence-based services with a focus on integrated mental health, physical health, and substance use recovery.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

Conducts a triage of requests for initial appointments via phone, walk-ins and referrals from other agencies using a trauma informed approach.

Facilitate timely initial assessment to individuals who present for same day service.

Triage will include brief assessments for mental wellness, substance use, physical health conditions, suicidality, risk of violence, a brief lethality assessment, description of the presenting problem, and level of determination.

Identifies strengths and needs of clients and families and acts to involve them in planning for desired services.

Provides crisis intervention and resource planning to adults, children and their families as needed.

Escalates emergent situations to lead clinician.

Works with team members, community partners and service organizations to closely collaborate care and other community services or resources.

Works cooperatively with referral sources to ensure continuity of care.

Educates the client about the treatment available and next steps in treatment engagement.

Verifies insurance coverage, obtains necessary authorizations, consents and referrals, and ensures financial support is in place for the initial visit.

Completes timely and accurate documentation of demographic and clinical services in the medical record.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to be diplomatic and professional while exercising excellent judgement and discretion as appropriate.
  • Experience in conducting mental health assessments and/or crisis intervention.
  • Exceptional rapport building skills with people in crisis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

BILLING CLERK

Seeking a full-time Billing Clerk for the Billing Department.

Duties include:

  • Verifying client insurance coverage/benefits using multiple insurance websites. Also contacting insurance by phone when necessary.
  • Phone contact with clients.
  • Balancing and completing payment reconciliation. Go to bank when needed.
  • Work with our support staff teams in various location to answer payment/insurance questions.

REGISTERED NURSE

The Registered Nurse will provide ongoing primary care monitoring of health conditions for individuals with mental health and substance use conditions, often managing complex cases and coordinating care across various behavioral health services within the clinic and with external physical health providers as needed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ health needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring progress.
  • Ensuring individuals have access to primary care services.
  • Ensuring ongoing periodic laboratory testing and physical measurement of health status indicators and changes in the status of chronic health conditions.
  • Ensuring outpatient primary care screening and monitoring of key health indicators and health risk are received timely
  • Coordinating care with primary care and specialty health providers including tracking attendance at needed physical health care appointments.
  • Promoting a healthy behavior lifestyle including nutritional advice and smoking cessation.
  • Administering medications as prescribed, educating patients on medication side effects, and monitoring for potential medication interactions.
  • Responding to immediate health crises, providing de-escalation techniques, and coordinating emergency services if needed.
  • Managing patient care coordination, including communication with other healthcare providers, community support services, and family members.
  • Providing psychoeducation on health conditions, coping mechanisms, and recovery support strategies.

  • Understanding and addressing the impact of trauma on patients’ health care administration is critical in a CCBHC setting.

CLIENT NAVIGATOR

The Client Navigator will manage referrals to and from the agency ensuring that people can access community services and resources to address their identified needs. Full-time position. DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Evaluate individuals’ needs to assist in providing appropriate referrals to community providers and community resources; serves as a liaison between providers of care when indicated.
  • Develop knowledge of and builds positive working relationships with community based agencies and other service providers to facilitate referrals.
  • May use referral platform to document referrals, outcomes and time frames.
  • Receive agency referrals and forward them to appropriate programs/services within the agency; ensure that referrals are responded to within time frames established by the network/agency.

CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

The Journey Project (formerly known as the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program) at Family & Children’s Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated licensed social worker. The program is known statewide for its work with children and adolescents with illegal and problematic sexual behaviors, as well as, working with families impacted by sexual abuse. This position offers extensive training (including evidenced based treatment) and the potential for trauma-based certification. Therapists in this program work closely together in a team environment. The program offers group and individual supervision by a LCSW-R.

Duties Include: individual, family and group work with child victims of sexual abuse and their families as well as, therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents with problematic and illegal sexual behavior and adults who have sexually offended. The position will be split between Binghamton and Owego locations based on need.

HEALTH HOME CARE MANAGER

We are seeking a full time Care Manager for our Health Home program. Health Home program training will be provided.

Duties and responsibilities include: provide care coordination services to Medicaid enrolled individuals with qualifying chronic illnesses; meet with individuals in their home, community or in the office to assist with enrollment in Health Home and care coordination needs, including a broad range of services essential to successful living in a community setting (e.g. medical, psychiatric, social, educational, legal, housing and financial services); evaluate clients’ social, health, and mental health needs in order to provide appropriate referrals to community resources and providers; contact eligible individuals by mail and/or phone to explain the Medicaid Health Home Program; maintain in person and phone contact with interested individuals; may serve as the initial agency contact to the public and other agencies/providers.

Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in a related field including human services, social work, nursing, education, psychology, sociology required. Prefer two years’ experience providing direct services or linking services to individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders. A CASAC with a bachelor’s degree with the required experience is also eligible for consideration. A master’s degree in one of the qualifying education fields may be substituted for one year of experience. Knowledge of the Cortland County area and community resources desired. Must have knowledge of effective telephone techniques and ability to communicate appropriately with clients and other professionals. Must demonstrate skills necessary to perform a variety of data reporting duties utilizing Microsoft Office applications, the NYS Health Commerce System and other data management systems.

TARGETED CASE MANAGER

The Targeted Case Manager (TCM) is responsible for providing intensive, individualized case management services to high-need clients with complex behavioral health and substance use disorders. This position supports clients by coordinating clinical and non-clinical services and helping them navigate these systems effectively.  Areas of focus include addressing social determinants of health, coordinating care across multiple systems and providers, and actively engaging clients in treatment to achieve stability and recovery goals.  This position requires the utilization of a trauma informed person-centered approach and strong community resource knowledge.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

  • Utilize active outreach methods to engage clients in treatment, including home visits, phone calls, and text messaging, especially for those with high risk of non-compliance.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ needs, including mental health, substance use, social, and medical concerns, to participate in the development of personalized treatment and crisis plans and skills training and support.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with other healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, specialists, and community agencies, to ensure holistic care delivery with the goal of decreasing inpatient admissions and reliance on emergency care.
  • Respond to client crises promptly, providing stabilization strategies and connecting them to appropriate crisis services when needed.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of available services to help achieve recovery goals and assist in system navigation when appropriate.
  • Support enrollment into Health Home Care Management or Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) for eligible clients who express interest.
  • Identify and connect clients with community resources such as employment support, educational opportunities, and support groups based on their specific needs.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs with external agencies and systems to ensure access to necessary services and address barriers to care.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans, including measurable goals, and monitor progress towards achieving them.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
    • Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural and linguistic diversity, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.

 

Required: Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; AND two (2) years of work experience in the health care, community health, or social services field; OR two (2) years of college-level training in health occupations may substitute for one (1) year of work experience.

DIRECTOR OF CRISIS SERVICES

The Director of Crisis Services oversees a team of mobile crisis clinicians who respond to individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community, providing direct crisis intervention, assessments, safety planning, and linkage to appropriate services, while ensuring the team operates effectively and adheres to clinical standards and protocols within the CCBHC model; often requiring on-call availability and collaboration with other community agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

  • Providing clinical and administrative supervision to mobile crisis clinicians, including case reviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to ensure quality of care.
  • Managing incoming crisis calls, dispatching mobile crisis clinicians to appropriate situations, and coordinating with law enforcement or other emergency services when necessary.
  • Travel between multiple service sites, to the homes, or residences or people served, and within the community.
  • Perform a range of clinical services related to the assessment, care, and treatment of individuals experiencing crises, in the school, home, community, or in the outpatient clinic setting.
  • Conducting crisis assessments, developing safety plans, providing immediate intervention strategies, and stabilizing individuals in crisis situations. Assess the need for inpatient stabilization and facilitate admissions as appropriate.
  • Identifying and connecting individuals in crisis with appropriate community resources, including community providers, support groups, and housing assistance.
  • Responsible for the development of policies, procedures and workflows that govern the expectations of service delivery and subsequent documentation.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of crisis interventions, assessments, and client interactions within the electronic health record in accordance with NYS regulations.
  • Managing staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for mobile crisis response during all operational hours, including on-call shifts.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Monitoring team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing quality assurance and improvement measures to maintain high standards of care.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local community partners, law enforcement, hospitals, and other agencies to facilitate seamless crisis response.
  • Promote agency goals and positive agency image in the community.
  • Ability to develop and deliver community-based presentations representing FCCS and the Mobile Crisis Service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS recognized college or university with a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field with an active clinical NYS license (LCSW, LPC, LMHC)
  • Minimum two (2) years experience working with adults and/or children with MH/SUD needs
  • Extensive experience in crisis intervention and mental health assessment
  • Expertise in addressing trauma and promoting recovery of children, adolescents, adults and older adults
  • Experience working with children, families and adults who experience complex emotional and behavioral difficulties which may present in crisis
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills

Comprehensive Low Threshold Buprenorphine Services Program Peer Specialist

The Peer Specialist (PS) is an active member of the Low Threshold MOUD and Outreach and Engagement Services providing peer support services to clients with substance abuse issues. The Peer Specialist will function as a role model to individual; exhibiting competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills; serving as a consumer advocate, providing consumer information and peer support for clients in the community. The Peer Specialist performs a wide range of tasks to assist peers of all ages, improving independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. Duties include:

  • Assist clients in articulating personal substance use goals through the use of individual outreach in the community or in the clinic setting.
  • Willingness to travel within the region. Late afternoon and evening hours required.
  • Maintains written client contact records.
  • Assist clients in working with their team of providers in determining the steps the client would like to take to achieve their personal goals.
  • Knowledge of biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders/recovery, self help group process, recovery process and principals of recovery.
  • Ability to relate effectively with staff, patients/residents, family members, individuals in recovery and internal and external community agencies.
  • Escort clients to medication appointments if needed as well as court appearance, off-site referrals, community services and sober support meetings as requested.
  • Participates in professional clinical and interpersonal skill development workshops.
  • Participates in weekly staff and supervision meetings.
  • Develops cooperative and creative working relationships with personnel in other human services agencies.
  • Affirm the rights of LGBTQ individuals to receive services that are free of discrimination regarding sexual orientation, gender identification, and gender expression.
  • Performs any other duties as directed by the OASAS CD Program Director or agency Director of Clinic Services and/or Executive Director.

 

Education: High School Graduate/Equivalency. One year of health or human service experience preferred. Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) certification required within the first six months of hire. NYS Driver’s license for use of agency vehicles.

Comprehensive Low Threshold Buprenorphine Service Program MOUD Clinician

Provides screening evaluation, assessment and individual counseling to individuals with substance use diagnoses by performing the following duties in the community or in the clinic setting utilizing a harm-reduction and strengths based perspective:

  • Provides assessments and counseling with clients in their natural settings to determine their specific needs.
  • Maintains written client case records.
  • Prepares statistical and narrative reports regarding program and patient activities.
  • Presents informational programs to community committees and task forces.
  • Participates in professional clinical skill development workshops and staff meetings
  • Develops cooperative and creative working relationships with personnel in other human services agencies.

INTAKE SPECIALIST

The CCBHC intake staff member acts as the first point of contact for potential clients, conducting initial assessments to gather necessary information, determining eligibility for services, and facilitating the admission process by assigning clients to appropriate clinicians within the clinic, all while adhering to CCBHC guidelines and ensuring timely access to care.  The primary responsibility is to efficiently screen and triage new clients, ensuring timely and efficient access based on initial presentation and stated need.  Responsibilities will include brief assessment and therapeutic interventions to determine the level and type of services needed across the CCBHC’s core services. Intake Staff will provide clinical evidence-based services with a focus on integrated mental health, physical health, and substance use recovery.

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Program Director

The CCBHC Program Director has responsibility for administrative and managerial operations for the CCBHC including the CCBHC Mobile Crisis Teams. The position will collaborate with Program Directors for the Article 31 and 32 Clinics. The CCBHC Program Director provides management and leadership of the CCBHC program, including fostering an environment that promotes excellence in service delivery as well as staff accountability.

The CCBHC Program Director will be responsible for managing day-to-day CCBHC program operations, overseeing the appropriateness and effectiveness of all CCBHC services, including crisis services, primary care screening and monitoring, services for veterans, coordination with peer/family support services, and psychiatric rehabilitation services.

The CCBHC Program Director will be responsible for the provision of program/supervisory coverage/management, and the identification of gaps in the service delivery system. The CCBHC Program Director will be responsible for representing the agency at meetings related to the CCBHC, which may occur evenings and weekends, conferences which may require overnight and/or out-of-state attendance, and public forums.

The CCBHC Program Director will also be responsible for strategic planning and implementation related to growth and sustainability, development and implementation of processes and services that will improve the service delivery system on behalf of the individuals we serve. This will include program development and ongoing quality improvement – including monitoring revenue, expenditures, productivity, outcomes, staff training and development, compliance with budgets and contracts, agency policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and audit readiness and new initiatives.
The CCBHC Program Director plays a key role in the integration of services across the agency and the entire system of care, supporting the CCBHC team to be able to connect clients with internal and external services based on their identified needs. The CCBHC Demonstration Program Director is expected to have regular interactions with all levels of staff to promote coordinated care and comprehensive service delivery.

Responsibilities and Typical Work Activities:

DIRECTOR OF CRISIS SERVICES

The Director of Crisis Services oversees a team of mobile crisis clinicians who respond to individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community, providing direct crisis intervention, assessments, safety planning, and linkage to appropriate services, while ensuring the team operates effectively and adheres to clinical standards and protocols within the CCBHC model; often requiring on-call availability and collaboration with other community agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

  • Providing clinical and administrative supervision to mobile crisis clinicians, including case reviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to ensure quality of care.
  • Managing incoming crisis calls, dispatching mobile crisis clinicians to appropriate situations, and coordinating with law enforcement or other emergency services when necessary.
  • Travel between multiple service sites, to the homes, or residences or people served, and within the community.

HEALTH HOME CARE MANAGER

We are seeking a full time Care Manager for our Health Home program. Health Home program training will be provided.

The Targeted Case Manager (TCM) is responsible for providing intensive, individualized case management services to high-need clients with complex behavioral health and substance use disorders. This position supports clients by coordinating clinical and non-clinical services and helping them navigate these systems effectively.  Areas of focus include addressing social determinants of health, coordinating care across multiple systems and providers, and actively engaging clients in treatment to achieve stability and recovery goals.  This position requires the utilization of a trauma informed person-centered approach and strong community resource knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

  • Utilize active outreach methods to engage clients in treatment, including home visits, phone calls, and text messaging, especially for those with high risk of non-compliance.

The Peer Specialist (PS) is an active member of the Low Threshold MOUD and Outreach and Engagement Services providing peer support services to clients with substance abuse issues. The Peer Specialist will function as a role model to individual; exhibiting competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills; serving as a consumer advocate, providing consumer information and peer support for clients in the community.   • Utilize active outreach methods to engage clients in treatment, including home visits, phone calls, and text messaging, especially for those with high risk of non-compliance.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ needs, including mental health, substance use, social, and medical concerns, to participate in the development of personalized treatment and crisis plans and skills training and support.

DIRECTOR OF CRISIS SERVICES

The Director of Crisis Services oversees a team of mobile crisis clinicians who respond to individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community, providing direct crisis intervention, assessments, safety planning, and linkage to appropriate services, while ensuring the team operates effectively and adheres to clinical standards and protocols within the CCBHC model; often requiring on-call availability and collaboration with other community agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

  • Providing clinical and administrative supervision to mobile crisis clinicians, including case reviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to ensure quality of care.
  • Managing incoming crisis calls, dispatching mobile crisis clinicians to appropriate situations, and coordinating with law enforcement or other emergency services when necessary.
  • Travel between multiple service sites, to the homes, or residences or people served, and within the community.
  • Perform a range of clinical services related to the assessment, care, and treatment of individuals experiencing crises, in the school, home, community, or in the outpatient clinic setting.
  • Conducting crisis assessments, developing safety plans, providing immediate intervention strategies, and stabilizing individuals in crisis situations. Assess the need for inpatient stabilization and facilitate admissions as appropriate.
  • Identifying and connecting individuals in crisis with appropriate community resources, including community providers, support groups, and housing assistance.
  • Responsible for the development of policies, procedures and workflows that govern the expectations of service delivery and subsequent documentation.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of crisis interventions, assessments, and client interactions within the electronic health record in accordance with NYS regulations.
  • Managing staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for mobile crisis response during all operational hours, including on-call shifts.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Monitoring team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing quality assurance and improvement measures to maintain high standards of care.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local community partners, law enforcement, hospitals, and other agencies to facilitate seamless crisis response.
  • Promote agency goals and positive agency image in the community.
  • Ability to develop and deliver community-based presentations representing FCCS and the Mobile Crisis Service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS recognized college or university with a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field with an active clinical NYS license (LCSW, LPC, LMHC)
  • Minimum two (2) years experience working with adults and/or children with MH/SUD needs
  • Extensive experience in crisis intervention and mental health assessment
  • Expertise in addressing trauma and promoting recovery of children, adolescents, adults and older adults

REGISTERED NURSE

The Registered Nurse will provide ongoing primary care monitoring of health conditions for individuals with mental health and substance use conditions, often managing complex cases and coordinating care across various behavioral health services within the clinic and with external physical health providers as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ health needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring progress.
  • Ensuring individuals have access to primary care services.
  • Ensuring ongoing periodic laboratory testing and physical measurement of health status indicators and changes in the status of chronic health conditions.
  • Ensuring outpatient primary care screening and monitoring of key health indicators and health risk are received timely
  • Coordinating care with primary care and specialty health providers including tracking attendance at needed physical health care appointments.
  • Promoting a healthy behavior lifestyle including nutritional advice and smoking cessation.
  • Administering medications as prescribed, educating patients on medication side effects, and monitoring for potential medication interactions.
  • Responding to immediate health crises, providing de-escalation techniques, and coordinating emergency services if needed.
  • Managing patient care coordination, including communication with other healthcare providers, community support services, and family members.
  • Providing psychoeducation on health conditions, coping mechanisms, and recovery support strategies.

Comprehensive Low Threshold Buprenorphine Services Program Peer Specialist

The Peer Specialist (PS) is an active member of the Low Threshold MOUD and Outreach and Engagement Services providing peer support services to clients with substance abuse issues. The Peer Specialist will function as a role model to individual; exhibiting competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills; serving as a consumer advocate, providing consumer information and peer support for clients in the community. The Peer Specialist performs a wide range of tasks to assist peers of all ages, improving independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. Duties include:

  • Assist clients in articulating personal substance use goals through the use of individual outreach in the community or in the clinic setting.
  • Willingness to travel within the region. Late afternoon and evening hours required.
  • Maintains written client contact records.
  • Assist clients in working with their team of providers in determining the steps the client would like to take to achieve their personal goals.
  • Knowledge of biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders/recovery, self help group process, recovery process and principals of recovery.

PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

Provides evaluations, assessment and diagnoses for the purpose of prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications. Provides medication assistance treatment (MAT) services to clients with substance use disorders, including low threshold buprenorphine. Consults with collaborating psychiatrist and counseling/other staff for treatment planning and crisis management. Maintains electronic client case records according to regulatory and agency defined standards. Provides coverage for other prescribers as necessary.
Current licensure in NYS as Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant with prescribing authority. Current DEA certification. Prefer experience in outpatient clinic serving clients diagnosed with mental health or chemical addiction NPI eligible. Eight- hour MATE training or equivalent required upon time of hire.

CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

The Journey Project (formerly known as the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program) at Family & Children’s Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated licensed social worker. The program is known statewide for its work with children and adolescents with illegal and problematic sexual behaviors, as well as, working with families impacted by sexual abuse. This position offers extensive training (including evidenced based treatment) and the potential for trauma-based certification. Therapists in this program work closely together in a team environment. The program offers group and individual supervision by a LCSW-R.

Duties Include: individual, family and group work with child victims of sexual abuse and their families as well as, therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents with problematic and illegal sexual behavior and adults who have sexually offended. The position will be split between Binghamton and Owego locations based on need.
